(i) Appearance of fish - like tadpole larva (having gills, latral line system, tail and tail fin) in the life history of frog which confims the evolution of amphibians from fish - like aquatic ancestors.
(ii) Presence of filamentous and photosynthetic protonema in the life cycle of moss which confirms the algal ancestory of mosses (i.e bryophytes).
