Certain pathogens attack the specific tissue/organ and cause only the tissue/organ specific symptoms e.g.
(i) Mycobacterium tuberculae bacterium attacks the lungs and cause Tuberculosis characterised by coughing, chest pain and bloody sputum.
(ii) Vibrio cholerae bacterium attacks intestinal mucosa and causes cholera characterised by acute diarrhoea and dehydration.
(iii) Rhino virus causes inflammation of nasal epithelium and upper part of respiratory tractso is characterised by nasal congestion and discharge, sore throat, hoarseness, coughing, etc.
