Name and explain the two types of immune responses in humans.

Humoral immune system is formed of antibodies produced by B-lymphocytes and protects the body from those bacteria and viruses which enter the blood and lymph, while cell-mediated immune system is formed of T-lymphocytes which kill the microbes or reject the allografts or autoantigens.
