Explain different types of boundaries that form as a result of tectonic plates.

Three types of boundaries are formed as a result of tectonic plates:
(i) Convergent Boundaries: Where the crust is destroyed as one plate dived under another, it is called convergent boundaries.
(ii) Divergent Boundaries: Where new crust is generated as the plates pull away from each other, these are called divergent boundaries.
(iii) Transform Boundaries: Where the crust is neither produced nor destroyed as the plates slide horizontally past each other.
