There are three major implications of latitudinal extent- (a) Tropic of cancer (`231 // 2^(@)`) - It divides India into 2 parts.
(b) The places above Tropic of Cancer are Northern India and below Tropic of Cancer is Southern India.
(c) Well connected to `"east" // "west"` of the world the total area of India is 3.8 million sq km of total land.
(d) As we move from Kanniyakumari to `"Jammu" // "Kashmir"` duration of day and night decreases by more than 4`1 // 2` hours.
(e) This is because of unequal duration of latitude by Circle of Illumination.
