In fig 10.9 , time and distance graph of a linear motion is given.
Two positions of time and distance are recorded as, when `T = 0, D = 2` and when `T = 3, D = 8 ` . Using the concept of slope, find law of motion , i.e., how distance depends upon time.

The distance-time graph of a moving particle is given by x = 4t -6t^(2) . What is the positive maximum speed?

The distance-time graph of a moving particle is given by x = 4t -6t^(2) . At what time would the speed of the particle be zero ? ( x is in metre and t is in second).

An isolated conducting sphere of radius r is given a charge +Q. This charge may be assumed to act as a point charge situated at the centre of the sphere, as shown below in Fig.-1 | Fig.2 shows the variation with distance from the centre of the sphere, the potential V due to the charge +Q. Using the above relation, sketch a graph to show the variation with distance xx of the electric field E due to charge +Q.

If the distance from the initial point at a time t is given by x = t - 6t^2 + t^3 : then at what time the acceleration will be zero?

A car starts from a point P at time t = 0 seconds and stops at point Q. The distance x, in metres, covered by it, in t seconds is given by x=t^(2) (2-(t)/(3)) Find the time taken by it to reach Q and also find distance between P and Q.

Displacement x and time t, in a rectiIinear motion of a partical are reIated as t = sqrt(x)+3 . Here x is measured in metre and t in second. Find the displacement of the partical when its velocity is zero.

The attraction force of a satellite of any planet varies directly with the mass (M) of the planet and inversely with the square of their distances . Again the square of the period of the rotation of the satellite varies directly with the distance between them and inversely with the attraction force. if m_1, d_1 , t_1 and m_2 ,d_2,and t_2 be two sets of corresponding values of M (mass) , D (Distance) and T (time) , them prove that m_1t_1^2d_2^3 =m_2t_2^2d_1^3 .
