A milk tank is in the form of cylinder whose radius is 1.5 m and length is 7 m. Find the quantity of milk in litres that can be storedn the tank?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given, radius of cylinder = `1.5 m`
Length of cylinder = `7 m`
The volume of the cylinder = `pir^2h`
`=22/7xx(1.5)^2xx7`
`=49.5 m^3`
now, 1 cubic meter = 1000 litres,
So, 49.5 cubic meter = `49.5xx1000`
`=49500 litres`
