Find the height of the cylinder whose volume is `154m^3` and diameter of the base is `140 cm` ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Radius of the base = `140/2`
`=70 cm = 0.7 m`
Given, the volume of cylinder = `1.54 m^3`
Volume of cylinder = `pir^2h`
`1.54 = 22/7xx0.7xx0.7xxh`
`h=(1.54xx7)/(0.7xx0.7xx22)`
`h=1 m`
Thus, the height of the cylinder is `1m`.
