Find the values of the letters and give reasons for the steps involved. `1A xx A = 9A`

We know that when a digit A multiplies with itself then the unit digit of the answer should be A.
So,there are three numbers `1,5 and 6` which satisfy the above condition so putting` 1,5 and 6` in place of A and checking we get the value of a is `6.`
So, the value of A is `6.`
