Diabetes mellitus is a pancreatic hormone disorder resulting from hyposecretion of insulin hormone. Main symptoms are excessive and repeated urine production, excessive thirst, hyperglcemia.
Diabetes insipidus is a hypothalamic disorder which results from hyposecretion of ADH hormone (vasorpressin). Main symptoms are thirst, dehydration, excretion of bulky urine.
