CU-T is a intrauterine device used by women as means of birth conteol. Such devices are presently available as the non-medicated and hormone releasing IUDs. CU-T increases phagocytosis of sperms in the uterus. Copper ions releases usffers sperm motility and the fertilizing capacity of the sperms. The hormones released make the uterus unsuitable for implanatioon and the cervix hostile to the sperms.
