(a) The molecule of DNA is chemically less reactive and structurally more stable as compared to RNA. RNA is more reactive because of the presence of 2'-0H group at every nucleotide as well as the molecule of RNA is known to be catalytic. DNA, on the other hand, has thymine at the place of uracil which provides additional stability. Moreover, RNA being unstable, mutate at a faster rate.
