Intially the nematode specific genes were introduced in to host plant (tabacoo) this was done by using agrobactreium as vectros introduction of DNA was made t o produce both sense and anti sense RNA in the (ds RNA) This ds RNA molecules wer complementary to each other so t hey formed a double stranded RNA (ds RNA) this ds RNA intitaated rNA interference (RNA) and finally silenced the specific mRNA of he m=nematode in this way the taobacco plants develop resistance
