How is partial pressure of a gas related to its mole fraction?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The pressure of a gas over a soluiton in which the gas is dissolved is proportional to the mole fraction of the gas dissolved in the solution i.e., `p prop x`
`p = K_(B) ` (where `K_(H)` is Henry.s is Henry.s law constant).
