(a) Voting is a right and cannot be taken away for any reason. The right to vote allow women to participate and engage in change of society so even if some women vote the way men tell them to, there are many women who vote as per their views and opinions. (b) Election is a form of consensus. Elections through voting result in a consensus among majority of the people of the candidate they want. Party politics need to be minimized by ensuring internal elections and other reform steps. These steps would allow decrease in the tension in society that occurs because of party politics.
(c) There should be restrictions on access to political power. By establishing criteria such as educational qualification, it will create a system where the poor, who cannot afford education will be denied access to political power. Efforts should be made to a population where both the voters and candidates are literates.
