This chapter deals with the
concept of multiplication and division of fractions as
well as of decimals. A proper fraction is a fraction
that represents a part of a whole. An improper fraction is a
combination of a whole and a proper fraction. The first half of the chapter
deals with the Multiplication of Fractions and the later part deals with
the concept of Division of Fractions. Two fractions
are multiplied by multiplying
their numerators and denominators separately. Multiplication of fractions is
sub-divided into the following topics: Multiplication of a fraction by a whole number
