A rigid tank contains `3Kg` water,of which mass fraction of vapor is `0.6` under saturated conditions.Specific volume of liquid is `0.001041m^(3)/Kg` and that of vapor is `1.859m^(3)/Kg` .What should be the volume of rigid container to be taken to have saturated condition with same composition as before but one Kg of water? Two tanks are at same temperature.

A rigid and insulated tank of 3m^(3) volume is divided into two compartments. One compartment of volume of 2m^(3) contains an ideal gas at 0.8314 Mpa and 400 K while the second compartment of volume of 1m^(3) contains the same gas at 8.314 Mpa and 500 K.
