The conductivity of 0.1 M KCl solution is `1.29 S m^(-1)`. If the resistance of the cell filled with 0.1 M KCl is `100 Omega`, Calculate the cell constant.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The cell constant filled with electrolytic solution is given as,
Cell constant = specific conductivity `xx` resistance
Cell constant = `1.29 S m^(-1) xx 100 Omega`
`= 1.29 m^(-1) = 129 cm^(-1)`.
