Is there a triangle whose sides have lengths `10.2 cm, 5.8 cm` and `4.5 cm`?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We know that the sum of any `2` sides of triangle is always greater than the `3^(rd)` side.
Let `a=10.2,b=5.8,c=4.5`
`a+b=10.2+5.8=16gt4.5=c`
`b+c=5.8+4.5=10.3gt10.2=a`
`c+a=4.5+10.2=14.7gt5.8=b.`
