(i) In intrinsic semiconductor, the number density of electrons is equal to the number density of holes, whereas in extrinsic semiconductor, the number density of electrons is not equal to the number density of holes.
(ii) The electrical conductivity is low in intrinsic semiconductor, whereas it is high in extrinsic semiconductor.
