Fresh milk has a pH of 6. How do you think the pH will change as it turns into curd ? Explain your answer.

As the milk curdles, the pH will get lower than 6. Milk contains lactose sugar. This is acted upon by the bacteria and converts it into lactic acid. This turns milk into curd by decreasing the pH to below 6.
