15 ml of water and 10 ml of Sulphuric acid are mixed in a beaker.

The acid must be added slowly to water with constant stirring to prevent the mixture to be splashed out. The reaction is highly exothermic, therefore glass container may also break due to excessive heating.
(ii) The process is called dilution.
