(b) which solution has more H+ concentraiton ?
(c ) Why is HCl a stronger acid than acetic acid ?

Text Solution

(a) Solution A is acidic.
(b) Solution A
(c ) As HCl releases more `H^(+)` ions into the solution than acetic acid. It is the concentration of hydrogen ion in solution which determines the strength of the acid. Hence HCl is a stronger acid than acetic acid.
