Does the charge given to a metallic sphere depend on whether it is hollow or solid ? Give reason for your answer.

As `C = 4 piin_(o) r`, till there isn'ta change in r and `in_(o)`, C will be same. Hence, the charge is ditributed on the surface only. So, solid and hollow body will contain same amount of charge.
