Draw a block diagram of a generalized communication system. Write the functions of each of the following:
(a) Transmitter
(b) Channel
(c) Receiver .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(a) Transmitter: To convert the message singnal into suitable form for transmission through
channel. It transmits information after modifying.
(b) Channel : It sends the sigal to the reciver.
(c) Reciver : In communication system, reception part provides the output. It may be
with the help of :
(a) pickup antenna (signal reception)
(b) demodulator (separate low frequency audio singnal from modulated signal).
(c) amplifier (for suitably boosting).
(d) transducer (converts audio signal into sound weves).
