Explain qualitatively how induced e. m .f in the coil would very with time . (Neglect damping of oscillations of spring).

When the spring is stretched and released , it executes SHM about the equilibrium position AB of the wire . As a result , the wire Ab will also executes SHM and consequently induced emf set up across It will vary harmonically (sinusoidal)as shown in the figure below :
