Write the following rational numbers in ...

Write the following rational numbers in ascending order: (i) `(-3)/5, (-2)/5, (-1)/5` (ii) `(-1)/3, (-2)/9, (-4)/3` (iii) `(-3)/7, (-3)/2, (-3)/4`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i)`(-3)/5,(-2)/5,(-1)/5`
As their denominators are same, we can see that ,
`(-3)/5lt(-2)/5lt(-1)/5`
So, their ascending order will be,
`(-3)/5,(-2)/5,(-1)/5`

(ii)`(-1)/3,(-2)/9,(-4)/3`
If we make their denominators same, then number becomes,
...
