State the rule to determine the direction of a (i) magnetic field produced around a straight conductor-carrying current, (ii) force experienced by a current-carrying straight conductor placed in a magnetic field which is perpendicular to it, and (iii) current induced in a coil due to its rotation in a magnetic field.

(i) To know the direction of magnetic field produced around a straight conductor carrying current we use "right-hand thumb rule". For its statement, see Point Number 7 under the heading "Chapter At A Glance".
(ii) To find the direction of force experienced by a current carrying straight conductor placed in a magnetic field which is perpendicular to it, we make use of Fleming.s left-hand rule. For statement, see Point Number 13 under the heading "Chapter At A Glance".
(ii) For finding the direction of current induced in a coil due to its rotation in a magnetic field we use Fleming.s right-hand rule. For its statement, see Point Number 16 under the heading "Chapter At A Glance".
