Find the value of the following: `tan^(-1)(tan((7pi)/6))`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let `tan ^-1 (tan 7pi//6)=x`,
where `x∈( -pi//2,pi//2)`
Then,
`tanx=tan(7pi//6)=tan(pi+ pi//6)=tan(pi//6)`
`rArr x=pi//6`
