Evaluate the integrals`int_0^1x/(x^2+1)dx`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`int_0^1x/(x^2+1)dx`
Let ` x^2+1=t`
`=2xdx=dt`
when x=0, t=1 and when x=1, t=2
`int_0^1x/(x^2+1)dx=1/2int_1^2dt/t`
`=1/2[log[t]_1^2`
`=1/2[log2-log1]=1/2log2`
