The curved surface area of a cone can be given as, `A_C = pirl`
Here, we are given, `r = 12cm and h = 16cm`
So, Slant height, `l = sqrt(12^2+16^2) = sqrt(144+256) = 20cm`
So, `A_C = 3.14**12**20 = 753.6cm^2`
The total surface area of a cone can be given as, `A_T = pir(r+l)`
`A_T = 3.14**12(12+20) = 3.14**12**32 = 1205.76cm^2`
