A shopkeeper purchased 200 bulbs for Rs 10 each. However 5 bulbs were fused and had to be thrown away. The remaining were sold at Rs 12 each. Find the gain or loss %.

The cost price of `200` bulbs in rupees ` = 200xx10 = 2000`
As `5` bulbs were fused, the total number of bulbs that were sold `= 200-5 = 195`
Selling price of all `195` bulbs in rupees `=195xx12 = 2340`
So, Profit in rupees` = 2340-2000 = 340`
So, `%` profit `= 340/2000xx100 = 17%`
