Rahul bought a sweater and saved Rs 20 when a discount of 25% wasgiven. What was the price of the sweater before the discount?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let cost price of sweater in rupees ` = x`
Discount in `% = 25`
So, `x**25/100 = 20`
`x = 4**20=> x = 80` Rs
So, price of sweater without discount is `80` rupees.
