chromatography is a technique used for seqaration purification and characterzation of the componts of a mixture whether coloured or clourless the term chromatography was originally dericved from the Greek word 'chorma' meaning colour and graphy for writing because the method was first used for the seqarataion of colourred substance (plant pigments )into individual components .
