A cardsheet divided into squares each of size `1 mm^(2)` is being viewed at a distance of `9 cm` through a magnifying glass (a conerging lens of focal length `10 cm`) held close to the eye.
(a) What is the magnification produced by the lenas ? How much is the area of each square to the virtual image ?
(b) What is the angular magnification (magnifying power) of the lens ?
( c) Is the magnification in (a) equal to the magnifying power in (b) ? Explain

a) place the two prisms each other. Make sure that their bases are on the opposite sides of the incident white light, with their faces touching each other. When the white light is incident on the first prism, it will get disperesed. When this dispersed light is incident on the first prism, it will get dispersed. When this dispersed light is incident on the second prism, it will recombine and white light will emerge from the combination of the two prisms.
b) Take the systemof the two prisms as suggested in answer (a). Adjust (increase) the angle of the fint-glass-prism so that the deviation due to the combination of the prisms become equal. This combinatin will disperse the pencil of white light without much deviation.
