Believe it or not, humans are the weakest creatures in the world. The young one of a cow learns to stand up within a few minutes after its birth. A human child takes almost a year to stand up erect. How I learnt cycling is quite an interesting story. I had a new bicycle on my birthday. But I hesitated and feared to ride on it. I feared lest I should fall down and injure myself. One day, my father made me sit on the saddle and pushed the bicycle from behind. I was seized with terror and cried loudly. I forgot to paddle and fell down on the ground. I was in tears. Fortunately, the ground was sandy and I was not hurt. My father was more determined. He forced me sit on the saddle. I protested. He threatened and encouraged me too. When I was on, he gave a powerful push from behind. "Paddle – paddle and hold the handle - don.ts fear", cried my father. I paddled hard and held the handle straight. The bicycle was on the roll. This is how I learnt to ride on a bicycle.
