(i) The modulation index,
(ii) The side bands produced .

(i) Modulation index = `(V_C-V_m)/(V_C + V_m)`
`=(20 -10)/(20 + 10)`
`=(10)/(30)`

(ii) Side bands `=f_c pm f_m`
` =1000 pm 10kHz`
` = 1010 kHz & 990 kHz`
