The heat generated in a circuit is dependent on the resistance, current and time of flow of electrical current. If the errors measured in the above are 1% , 2% and 1% respectively, what is the maximum error in heat ?

Heat H = `(i^(2)RT)/(j)`
Maximum error in measuring the heat
`(DeltaH)/(H)xx100=2(Deltai)/(i)xx100+(DeltaR)/(R)xx100+(DeltaT)/(T)xx100`
Here J is a constant .
Given that
`(DeltaR)/(R) xx100=1%(Deltai)/(i) xx100=2%(DeltaT)/(T)xx100=1%`
`(DeltaH)/(H) xx100= (2xx2)+1+1=4+1+1`
Maximum error in heat =6%
