What is an adsorption isoterm? Describe Freundlich adsorption isotherm.

A graph drawn between extent of adsorption and the pressure of the gas at constant temperature is called adsorption isotherm
A relationship between the amount adsorbed `(x//m)` and the equilibrium pressure (p) can be given by
`x/m = kp^(1//m)`
where, n is a positive integer and k is the constant.
This is known as Freundlich adsorption isotherm.
