Example : Starch sol, albumin sol, gelatin, glue.
Lyophobic sol : Has no (or little) affinity towards dispersion medium.
Example : Sulphur sol, Metal sol, Metal oxide sol, slophide sols.
(b) Scattering of light by colloidal particles.
