Biodegradable polymers : Biodegradable polymers are polymer which contain functional groups similar to the functional groups present in biopolymers but are degradable and does not pose hazard to atmosphere. E.g., (PHBV).
Poly `beta` - hydroxy butyrate : Which is obtained by the copolymerization of 3-hydroxy butanoic acid and 3-hydroxypentanoic acid.
