Natural rubberis considered as a linear 1, 4 Polymer of isoprene (2-methyl-1, 3-butadiene). In this polymer, the residual double bonds are located between `C_(2)andC_(3)` is isoprene units in the polymer. All these double bonds have cis-configuration.
