Write the mechanism of the following reaction:
`CH_(3)CH_(2)OHoverset(HBr)(to)CH_(2)CH_(2)Br+H_(2)O`

The nucleophile `(Br^(-))` attacks the carbon atom from the side near to the -OH group, thus leading to inversion of configuration in the final product.
