Mention the pollinating agent of an inflorescence of small dull coloured flowers with well exposed stamens and large feathery stigma. Give any one characteristic of pollen grains produced by such flowers.

Text Solution

Small dull coloured flowers do not attract insects and birds. Therefore these flowers produce huge amounts of small pollen grains which are dispersed in air and stick to large feathery stigma. Such flowers are thus wind pollinated.
