Explain how do the following acts as contraceptives? (i) CuT (ii) Saheli

CuT : They are copper releasing IUDS which increase phagocytosis of sperms within the uterus and the copper ions suppress sperm motility and the fertilizing capacity of sperms. Saheli: It is a new oral contraceptive for the females which contains non-steroid preparation. It was developed by scientists at CDRI (Lucknow). It is taken once in a week, with very few side effects.
