What are homologous organ? Mention any two examples.

The organs which are similar in origin structure are called homologous organs. Examples : Forelimbs of whale, bat, cheetah the forelimbs are made up of same type of bones like Radius, ulna, phallenges, carpels and metacarpels but cheetah use it for running whales for swimming and bat for flying, Tendrils of cucurbita and thorns of Bougainvilla both are intermodal in origin but tendrils give support and thorns give protection.
