The following practices are prevention/control most of the infectious diseases.
(i)Mainenance of personal hygiene (keeping the body clean ,consumption of clean food and water).
(ii)Miantenance of public hygiene (proper disposal of excreta/wastes,periodic cleaning and disinfection of water reservoirs,observing standard practices of hygiene in public catering).
(iii)Eradication of vectors and their breeding places.
(iv)Vaccination and immunization for diseases like polio ,diphtheria,tetanus,etc.
(v)Use of antibotics and drugs to treat the infected persons.
