Kidney is made up of large number of excretory units called nephrons. Cup-shaped structure associated with capillaries is called Bowman.s capsule. This collects filltered urine. As this urine flows through the tubular part of the nephron, reabsorption of glucose, amino acids, salts and water takes place. The urine formed enters into long tube called ureter through the collecting ducts of kidney. Then the urine is collected in urinary bladder.
