Study the following electric circuit (i)...

Study the following electric circuit (i) Calculate the current flowing in the circuit and (ii) Calculate the potential difference across `10 Omega` resistor

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) `R= R_(1)+R_(2)=10+20=30 Omega`
V=3 V
(i) From ohm.s V= IR
`3 =I xx30 implies I = (3)/(30)= (1)/(10)` Ampere or 0.1 A
(ii) Potential difference across `10Omega` resistor
V= IR
`=(1xx10)/(10 ) ` = 1 volt .
