Two wires of equal length, one of copper and the other of manganin [an alloy] have the same thickness. Which one can be used for
i] electrical transmission lines
ii] electrical heating devices? Why?

i] Copper should be used in the transmission lines because copper is a really good conductor and does not heat the surface like manganin.
ii] Whereas manganin is used in electrical heating devices because the heat is trapped and results in the heating effect of electricity.
